While we can play across a wide range of genres—soul, disco, funk, jazz, RNB, pop, and rock—we always put our own spin on it, making every performance uniquely ours, no matter the style.
Looking for an upbeat party atmosphere? We’ll bring high-energy pop, RNB, and funk to get everyone dancing. Need something laid-back but lively? A mix of jazz, soul, and disco will set the perfect tone. Whatever mood you want to create, we’ll blend the right elements to make it feel just right.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long do you play for?We play for a total of 3 hours, which includes 3 x 45-minute sets. We also provide background music during set breaks. However, we tailor our performance to each individual event in line with your running sheet. If you would like us to play for additional hours, this will be charged accordingly.

Can we request a song/songs?Absolutely! We are happy to learn up to two new songs for your event at no extra cost. Any additional requests beyond that may incur a small fee to account for rehearsal time.

Do you provide your own sound and lighting?Yes! We can provide our own PA system and lighting dependant on size of the event. The PA setup will depend on the event, the size of the room, and the number of guests attending and if our equipment would suit this.

What is include in our booking?With Empire Live Music, you get professionalism, reliability, years of experience, no fuss, and—most importantly—fun times!

How far do you travel?We perform within the metropolitan area of Adelaide. For events outside this area, a travel fee will apply based on the event location.

How do we confirm our booking?To confirm your booking, we will send you a booking agreement to sign and return. Once received, an invoice will be issued, and the booking will be locked in upon payment of the booking fee.

How far in advance do we have to book?If we’re available, we’ll play—no matter the notice! That said, last-minute availability can be tricky, so booking a few weeks or months in advance will give you the best chance of securing your date.

What is your favourite genre to play?Our top pick? Soul, disco, and funk—nothing beats those grooves! But we’ve also got a soft spot for a bit of Stevie Nicks.
